Taste Yogurt Bar opening second location
GREENSBORO — Taste Yogurt Bar (2417-D Lawndale Drive) is opening a second location.
The self-serve, frozen yogurt shop is opening a new location at 344 Tate St., formerly The Corner Store.
Taste opened at The Shops at Kirkwood in the fall of 2010 and offers 10 daily flavors and toppings bar.
The Tate Street location joins East Coast Wings as two eateries replacing former retail spaces in the building. The Corner Store closed early last year. Design Archives, which occupied the space in which East Wings Coast Wings is opening, moved downtown.
"It's a renaissance," says Matt Russ, owner of the building and proprietor of Tate Street Coffee which is in the same strip of shops.
Russ says he's seen a lot come and go in his 19 years in the small commercial district that borders UNCG.
Taste Yogurt Bar is expected to open by April.
